The 28 Colour App provides customers with a tool to create unique pendant colour compositions.

28 SERIES

Individual 28 series pendants result from a complex glass blowing technique whereby air pressure is intermittently introduced into and then removed from a glass matrix. The result is a distorted spherical shape with a composed collection of inner shapes, one of which is made of opaque milk glass and houses a low voltage xenon lamp.

28 series pendants are designed to cluster in hexagonal shapes, which nestle into one another to create patterns as dictated by the needs of the interior. They may also be clustered or composed in an ambient manner.

BOCCI

Bocci is a contemporary design and manufacturing house based in Vancouver, Canada, with a satellite company based in Berlin, Germany.

We operate unconventionally as a co-operative community of designers, architects, craftspeople, technicians, agents, governance bodies, testing facilities, raw materials suppliers and fine shops. Bocci is committed to manufacturing at our Vancouver factory and have a fully equipped glass blowing studio in the same building as our offices, warehouse and design studio, and off site locations for glass casting, ceramics and metal sand casting.

FAQ

How come my chandelier doesn’t look exactly like my configuration?

Your configuration is an abstraction of the chandelier. The configurator is to be used as a tool to assist with colour selection and palette designs. Your chandelier will need to be composed on site as a pendant map is not included.

Do you have any other colours?

No, but our collection is always evolving, so be sure to check back often!

Can I choose a different amount of pendants that the ones suggested?

For the colour configuration, only the suggested options are available. However we are happy to work with custom and bespoke pieces throughout the entire design process.

What happens when I save my design?

All saved designs can be referenced under “SAVED” in the top left menu bar. For easy reference, we also suggest emailing a copy to yourself, partner, design team, etc.

What are the lead times of my chandelier?

For all our standard chandeliers our lead times are 3-5 days from receipt of payment in full. Our custom chandeliers have a lead time of approximately 4-6 weeks from receipt of signed shop drawings. Shop drawings are issued once we have a confirmed purchase order and 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due prior to shipping.

What is the diameter of the glass pendant?

150-180mm

What will my configuration look like in real life?

The configurator is designed with a certain level of abstraction. For a better idea of what this means, compare images in the gallery with their configurations for some idea of the difference.

Can I have custom coloured pendants?

We do offer custom colours. Please contact your local showroom or sales manager.

How come my pendant doesn't look like the one in the configurator?

Due to the hand crafted nature of the 28 series, the pendant size as well as colour depth and tonality will vary. This includes the number and location of interior satellites, pendant diameter, colour, and sometimes shape.

The configurator is designed to assist with colour selection and pallette choices to lay out a variety of options for a conceptual chandelier prior to ordering.
